The National Park Service is soliciting bids on a set-aside basis for small business firms only, from qualified companies to perform crack sealing at the Vicksburg National Military Park. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and miscellaneous appurtenant items to perform crack sealing of stress cracks and expansion joints. This work will consist of applying hot sealant to concrete pavement joints. The crack sealing is performed on a historic one way concrete road in the Vicksburg National Military Park located in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Work on this project is but not limited to: Clean out all foreign material using air and/or water pressure, remove and replace two bridge expansion joints and reseal approximately 18,000 linear feet of cracks. The stress cracks and joints range in width from 1/4 inch to 3 inches. The contract will be performed in January or Feburary of 2001.
