Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure optometry services for the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. The SIC is 8042 (Offices and Clinics of Optometrists), Small Business Size Standard $5MIL. Period of performance will be 15 JUL 00 through 30 SEP 00 with two (2) one year option periods. The resulting contract(s) will be commercial firm-fixed price. The estimated quantities will be specified in the solicitation. Services will include, but is not limited to, all aspects of comprehensive primary care optometry, preoperative and postoperative management of refractive surgery patients, routine and specialty contact lens care, and participation in clinical research. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
