Provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation to perform the repair work on a 1,800 ft tunnel (passage way) connecting the station building to the transmitter bldg. located at USCG Loran Station Port Clarence. The tunnel cross section is approximately 4 ft. wide and 8 ft. high, constructed with 2"X4" stud walls with no insulation. The interior walls are covered with panel board and exterior walls with asbestos cement panels. The tunnel is supported on timber foundation 4"X12"X12' every 10' on compacted gravel. The tunnel is anchored with 3/16" or 1/4" guy cables & turn buckles to the timber foundation on both sides of the tunnel at 10 ft. intervals. The estimated cost range for this project is between $25,000. and $100,000. The work required by this solicitation is identified as Industry Standard 1629 and the applicable size standard is $17.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This procurement is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, as implemented by the OFPP Policy Directive and Test Plan dated 8/31/89.
