solicitation for Custodial Service (for secured and unsecured
buildings) at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS), Colorado.
The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, supervision,
equipment, materials, supplies, chemicals, and transportation
necessary to perform custodial services at CMAFS. If two or more
certified HUBZone-eligible small business entities express a sincere
interest in submitting a proposal for this requirement, the Contracting
Officer may consider a Small Business HUBZone set-aside for this
contract. A copy of certification must be submitted with an e-mail
response. At this time, the award is contemplated as a set-aside for
Small Business firms only. Request for Proposal Number F05604-00-R-8003
is scheduled for issuance on 5 June 2000 via Electronic Posting System
(EPS) for Vendors; website address is http://www.eps.gov/. Standard
Industrial Code (SIC) and size standard are: 7349/$12 million. Basic
contract period is anticipated for the period 1 August 2000 through 31
March 2001, with four, one-year option periods and extending through
31 March 2005. Services will be procured pursuant to the requirements
in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. A site visit will be
conducted on, or about, 13 June 2000. CMAFS has specific security
requirements, which have to be met prior to any contractor being
allowed entry into the Restricted Areas. Conditions within CMAFS may
restrict visitation to those persons without specific physical
limitations preventing some climbing on ladders or entry into confined
areas. Interested firms should provide a capability statement by 2
June 2000. Submission should include information regarding your
company_s organizational structure, key management personnel, past
performance assessment for similar requirements to include present and
past clients, contract types, contract price and points of contact,
financial resources, and business size (i.e., Small Business, Small
Disadvantaged Business, Woman-owned Business). Responding firms may be
invited to present a Capability Briefing at a future date. Posted
