305-523-5075 The United States District Court (USDC), Southern District
of Florida, is conducting a market research survey pursuant to FAR Part
10. This notice is for information purposes only and does not
constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to
be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not
reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in
this survey. This is a Sources Sought Notice (not a presolicitation
notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to identify sources that can provide
services necessary to effect maintenance and repairs as needed to all
sound systems located in each of the court rooms throughout the
Sourthern District of Florida, which includes the following locations;
Ft Pierce, West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Miami and Key West,
Florida. The contractor shall be required to provide all labor, tools,
equipment, transportation, facilities, materials, technical expertise,
and parts necessary to provide intervening service calls on allcourt
rooms' sound systems. Each of the sound system is integrated with
various components from different manufacturers, i.e., ALTC Lansing,
Lectrosonics, FSR, Atlas Sound Lear, Shure, Sennheiser, ProCo, Elco,
JBL and Radio Design Labs. Response time to service calls are
considered paramount to the operations of the U.S. District Court,
therefore, preference will be given to qualified contractors located
within 50 miles from each of the locations previously mentioned.
Contractors located outside the 50 miles radius may not be considered.
This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and
the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR
Part 10. Potential contractors/sources must provide written evidence
that: (1) Service personnel to be utilized to perform maintenance on
installed sound systems have been trained on the particular
manufacturer (see above) and model of equipment and have a minimum of
12 months experience servicing the particular manufacturer
components/equipments, (2) certified by each manufacturer, (3) submit
three references, and (4) a list of active and/or accomplished
projects/contracts relating to sound systems repair services and
installation of the same with emphasis as it relate to a court room
enviroment within the last five years. Large and small businesses are
encouraged to participate in this survey. Interested sources should
submit responses to U.S. District Court, Facility Management Section,
Attn: Mr. Fasco, 300 NE First Ave Room 125, Miami, Fl 33132. Responses
should contain company name, address, point of contact, telephone/fax
numbers, cage code, DUNS number, size of business pursuant to SIC Code
7629 (size standard $5 million), abbreviated credentials/resumes, and
statement as to whether your company is domestically or foreign owned.
