Description: Request for Information to determine the availability of Commercial off the Shelf or the capability to design and manufacture Ka and Q Band satellite communications ground terminals. Overview: PM MILSATCOM is soliciting information from industry to determine the availability of Commercial off the Shelf or the capability to design and manufacture satellite communications terminals in the Ka and Q Band frequency ranges. The Ka terminal will operate with a transponded satellite. The Q Band terminal will be Milstar compatible operating at data rates from 75 bps to 1.544 Mbps and Advanced EHF compatible at data rates up to 8 Mbps. Outcome: PM MILSATCOM is seeking the information to determine acquisition strategies for future MILSATCOM programs.
