Work includes demolition and replacement of all interior surfaces, air handlers, plumbing and HVAC piping, ducts, ceilings, lighting, controls, latrines, and fire alarm system for a 2-story building of approximately 43,000 SF. Also included is exterior cleaning of the brick building. SIC is 1711. Magnitude is $1,000,000 to $10,000,000. Period of performance is approximately 720 days. Work scheduling could vary according to availability of 2 areas in the building where operations will be on-going during the entire contract period. This acquisition is reserved for Hubzone firms PROVIDED that 2 or more Hubzone firms respond and submit certification of intention to bid, plus information on references and other similar projects performed, not later than 15 days from posting of this notice. This acquisition is SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Bid date will be indicated on the solicitation when it is issued, which is anticipated to be by mid-July.
