This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The SIC Code is 1629.
Estimated cost of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and
$25,000,000.00. Completion no later than 200 calendar days. Work
consists of performing maintenance and new work dredging of the
Brewerton Channel Eastern Extension (35 feet deep and 450/600 feet wide
maintenance, 35 feet deep and 600 feet wide new work), with an option
to perform new work dredging of Tolchester Channel (35 feet deep and
600 feet wide). The total estimated amount of material to be removed is
2,800,000 cubic yards from Brewerton Channel Eastern Ext. and 2,700,000
cubic yards from Tolchester Channel. The material will be dredged by
clamshell and scow, hydraulic pipeline, or hopper dredge and placed in
the Poplar Island Environmental Restoration Project and/or the
Hart-Miller Island containment Facility. Full size plans and specs (17)

are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The subcontracting goals
are 60% for small business, 15% for small disadvantaged business, 8%
for women owned small business and 2% for Hubzone small businesses. It
is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their
cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small
Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a
prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when
utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors. In order to
comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all
contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration
(CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. The initial
