Berry (618) 874-7433 Request for Proposals Notice is hereby given that the Madison County Transit District (DISTRICT) will be receiving proposals until 12:00 noon, Friday August 18, 2000 for production of twelve (12) quarterly issues of the RideFinders Commuter Connection Newsletter. The selected contractor shall be responsible for all phases of newsletter production, including writing and editing content, generating original graphics, layout, and production of final art in printer-acceptable formats. All proposal forms and specifications are on file in the DISTRICT administrative office and are available for inspection during normal business hours. Specifications, forms, and the terms and conditions for bidding may be obtained from Ms. LaVetta Berry, DISTRICT administrative office, (618) 874-7433. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for Wednesday July 12, 2000 at 10:00 AM, CDT. The right is reserved to accept any proposal or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all proposals. Acceptance of any proposal is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). Any contract resulting from these proposals is subject to financial assistance contracts between the DISTRICT and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT).
