Baughman, Telephone: (541) 826-2111, ext. 3213 Provide all necessary A/E services for NRM Project #692-01-103, entitled "Replace Hot Water Generators" at the VA Domiciliary, White City, Oregon, in accordance with the A/E scope of work. Services will include preliminary investigative services and design development to replace 20 existing 750 gallon hot water storage tanks with instanteous steam power hot water generators. The new hot water generators must function to meet demand at 10psig steam supply. Work will include removing asbestos from hot water thank and piping, removing tank, pouring concrete floor in tank room and cleaning room so that it is asbestos free. Buildings involved are 203-218, 221, 222, 245 and 250. Services will also include preparation of construction documents and drawings, as well as construction period services including site visits. Generation of a detailed construction cost estimate will be required. Selection will be based on recent specialized experience and professional capacity to accomplish the work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to this project. Estimated construction cost estimate range between $100,000 to $200,000. Area of consideration is restricted to small business firms located within the State of Oregon.
