The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and transportation to demolish various buildings, located at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Beaufort, SC. The project includes, but not limited to demolition, removal and disposal of Buildings 16, Quonset Hut near Bldg 22, 193, 500, 603, 604, 607, 615, 642, 644, 690, 691, and 692. Option 1: Bldgs 567, 568, and 569. Work also includes asbestos and lead based paint abatements and disposals, removal and disposal of fluorescent light bulbs and PCB Ballasts, and recycling and turning over to the Government freon from air-conditioning units and system, complete with site restoration as required by the contract. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local statutes and regulations including all records, reports, and permits required. . The SIC Code is 1795. The size standard is $11,500,000.00. The estimated time for completion is 335 calendar days. The estimated solicitation release date is 02 August 2000. The estimated due date for receipt of bids is 31 August 2000. The Government intends on issuing the solicitation through the use of the Internet only.
