The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes, but is not limited to supplying and installing antennas, waveguide, pressurization systems and all associated hardware, wiring, grounding, and related equipment at approximately 19 owner sites in the State of Colorado (various counties). In addition, system documentation, training, and acceptance testing is required. The project has two phases. For phase I, the work shall commence on or about September 18, 2000 and be completed on or about November 17, 2000. For phase II, the work shall commence on or about June 1, 2001 and be completed on or about July 16, 2001. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be issued in hard copy FREE OF CHARGE. NOTE: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, Western procurement officials will be limiting availability of this solicitation. Therefore, only a limited number of copies will be issued on a "first-come, first served" basis. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on or about 8/1/2000. The closing date is on or about 8/31/2000. This proposed procurement is set aside for small business concerns.
