E-MAIL: Jason Edge, Jason.Edge@ssc.nasa.gov. NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Quotation with a base bid and (1) option for 6,000 PSI Cryogenic pumps. The base bid consists of (2) each 6,000 PSI liquid nitrogen pumps. Work shall be performed in accordance with specification 200GK-GM16. The option item consists of (1) additional 6,000 PSI cryogenic pump. A firm fixed price commercial contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR part 12 and subpart 13.5. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. Prospective offerors shall request a copy of the RFQ in writting to telefax 228-688-1852 or via email to jason.edge@ssc.nasa.gov. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Technical acceptability will be deteremined by information submitted by the offeror providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. It shall be the responsibility ofthe offeror to monitor the NAIS for solicitation releases as the solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to 2 Aug 00.
