Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified firms for the design
and construction of the new East Hills Station in Anaheim, CA. The
facility is approximately 21,000 SF on a 108,000 sq.ft. Postal owned
site. The Design/Build contractor will be responsible for the
completing of the design documents while conforming to Postal Medium
Standard Building Design (MSBD) requirements. The work also included
design and construction of off-site improvements and utility
improvements and connections. Coordination with local jurisdictions,
application, payment and submission for off-site improvement plan check
and permits will be required and are the responsibility of the D/B
contractor. Liquidated damages will be $1000/day. Completion must be
within 360 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. FOR TECHNICAL

must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all
other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after
contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract is
11%. The Postal Service is committed to maximum involvement of Minority
and Women-Owned businesses in this project. Please pay particular
attention to requirements that you provide a credible and
action-oriented subcontracting plan as part of your proposal. Failure
to provide a satisfactory plan could reduce your chances for contract
acceptance. Offers will not be publicly opened. All proposal
information will remain confidential until award. Offerors are
encouraged to submit their proposals via U.S.P.S.'s First Class,
Priority or Express Mail. Performance and Payment Bonds must be
received within ten days after the issuance of the "Intent to Award"
