Center, New Orleans, LA intends to negotiate a sole source contract
with Stellate Systems, Montreal, QC, Canada under the authority of FAR
6.302-1. This procurement is for the following equipment and software:
(1)- Two (2) each Dual EEG & Sleep Recording station with 32 channel
"Harmonie" software, "SENSA" module, compact 16 channel amplifier, head
box stand & anchoring plate, DELL Pentium III 450MHz/128 MB RAM/34 GB
Hard Drive/CD-ROM Reader, 19" high resolution monitor, digital video
software module, MPEGI digital video compression-encoder board, TV for
video-in-a-window display, low lux B&W CCD camera & 24V transformer,
camera tripod & microphone bracket, manual zoom lens with auto iris
5.8-58mm, shot gun microphone, 20 watt pre-amplified speaker & other
accessories and cables; (2)-Two (2) each EEG Amplifiers with 32 channel
EEG amplifiers, snap-on headbox and amplifier Holter; (3)- Dedicated
Reading Station with 32 channel "Harmonie" software, "LUNA" module,
digital video module for recording & playback, MS Office 2000, DELL
Pentium III 450 MHz/128 MB RAM/50 GB/CD-ROM Reader, 21" high resolution
monitor, internal CD-ROM writer, HP Laser Jet 1100 Printer and software
for remote technical support; (4) Centralized EEG File Server with 32
channel "Harmonie" license, software for remote-site diagnostics, DELL
Pentium III 550 MHz/128 MB RAM/1x9 GB SCSI/2x36 GB SCSI HDD/CD-ROM
Reader/Integrated 100Mbs network card/Integrated sound card/Fax-modem
remote site diagnostics, 17" Multimedia Monitor with 1280x1024
resolution, internal CD-ROM Burner and other accessories; (5) On-site
training for two technicians designated as system administrators,
one-on-one training for physicians and overview of Harmonie system for
Biomedical personnel; system setup, installation and configuration;
(6) Harmonie system warranty on all computer hardware and peripherals,
with software upgrades and technical support. The system shall be
complete units needing no further equipment or accessories. Delivery is
due NLT 60 days from date of contract award. This is not a request for
proposals, but all interested parites who feel they are capable of
fulfilling this requirement may submit their capability statement by
August 4, 2000. A determination by the Government not to compete the
proposed contract based on responses to this notice is soley within the
discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered
soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive
