E-MAIL: Teresa Leong, tleong@d11.uscg.mil. Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace and remove existing fire hydrants at U.S. Coast Guard Group Port Angeles. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (a) Replace three existing fire hydrants, isolating valves and pipe sections with new as indicated. (b) Remove four existing fire hydrants, and cap the water line at point of removal. (c) Replace the existing 34 inch hose bibb attached to the 112 inch standpipe with a new, 34 inch, frost proof water hydrant. (d) Replace two existing, 112 inch standpipes with new 1 12 inch, frost proof, water hydrants. (e) Disconnect and cap the downstream piping of the standpipe. (f) Hydrostatically test the new pipe sections, (g) Disinfect new water piping and joints, and plugs of existing water piping affected by contractor_s operations; and (h) Thoroughly flush the yard mains by flushing the hydrants at the dead ends of the system. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
