FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following: Service contract for Hospital Owned Ultrasound Equipment located at Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital, Twenty-nine Palms, CA. Contractor is responsible to maintain the equipment in good working order. Contractor shall provide two preventive maintenance inspections. Contractor is to respond to any down equipment within twenty-four hours an upgrades to the software are to be included. Period of performance: Base year 10/1/2000 to 9/30/2000 and four option years. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one source or only a limited number of responsible sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to negotiate with ATL Ultrasound only unless other manufacturers can be found.
