Work includes converting buildings to two (2) man rooms with kitchenettes and toilet rooms. Involves the removal of all interior walls, doors and frames, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, telephone, fire alarm and cable TV systems. Work also includes the installation of new interior walls, doors and frames, finishes, standing seam metal roof, plumbing, piping and fixtures, HVAC system and piping, electrical transformers, main distribution panel, switchgear, lights, receptacles, conduit and wire. Solicitation contains option line items. Award is subject to the availablity of funds. Project range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Performance time is 300 calendar days per building. Projected issue date is 11 Aug 00 with a projected bid opening date of 11 Sep 00. This procurement is being issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
