DESC: Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the construction of a can wash facility. Project will include construction of an addition (approximately 21' by 58') to the existing vehicle wash facility to include plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems and shall be constructed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction". This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. This procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000 and the project shall be subject to the availability of funds. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 9, 2000. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation.
