The work includes excavation and removal of existing bituminous concrete surface course and subgrade, shaping and grading subgrade materials, furnishing and placing aggregate base course material and a bituminous concrete surface course; removal of existing concrete curb and gutter, shaping and grading materials, forming and placing concrete curb and gutter; removal of existing concrete aprons, shaping and grading subgrade materials, forming and placing concrete aprons. The project is located at the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery, near Yankton, SD. The Government Estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is 90 calendar days and the notice to proceed is expected to be issued on or about May 15, 2001. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required as follows: bid bond -- 20% of the bid price; payment bond -- 50% of the contract amount; performance bond -- 100% of the contract amount.
