The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to rehab restrooms at Cutterman's Club, Bldg. 614, USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Work is to include surface preparation to the restroom floors and application of new decorative seamless flooring systems; replacement of several existing light fixtures; removal and replacement of existing metal lockers; painting of both men's and women's restrooms to include walls and ceiling areas; installation of wall mounted refrigerated drinking fountain; installation of new sinks with cabinets and counters; and removal & reinstallation of the toilet wall partitions and modified wooden shower benches. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None. Performance Period is 30 45 days. Contractor shall work in one restroom at a time and complete that area ready for use prior to starting work in the other restroom / locker room areas. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: Uniform Mechanical Code, Uniform Building Code, national Electric Code, National Electrical Safety Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs. Hot Work permits are required for all welding, burning, soldering, and grinding involved with this project. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE MAILED ON APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 9, 2000. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000.
