The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to the removal of asbestos-containing materials and other finishes and provision of new replacement of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection (including fire pumps), electrical, and fire alarm equipment and associated work in support of the repair of Bldg 717. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1799. The approximate issue date will be 11 AUG 2000 with an approximate response date of 11 SEP 2000. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is 100% set aside for small business, HUBZone certified concerns. In addition to being certified as a small business HUBZone concern, all firms must have a commercial and government entity (CAGE)code and must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR-http://ccr2000.com/). All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
