Furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation to demolish the Sewage Treatment Plant and associated sewer outfall lines. Work shall include demolition of existing buildings and all underground and aboveground structures associated with the wastewater treatment plant. Work include removal of a 500-gallon aboveground storage tank and facilities with abestos containing materials and lead based paint. Included is the restoration and landscaping of the grounds. This solicitation is an unrestricted Invitation for Bid with a 180 dat performance period under the Small Business Competition-Demonstration Program. This demolition will be performed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings for project EEPZ 98-1003. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be released solely on the WEB on or about 7 Aug 00 with a closing date 30 calendar days after IFB issuance. Paper copies will be available. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be posted on the Electronic Posting System at (http://www.eps.gov/). Contractor will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation and amendments. No telephone requests will be honored.
