SUPPORT CENTER, JLasko@psc.gov. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration (SAMHSA), through the General Acquisitions
Branch, PSC, plans to award a twelve (12) month sole source simplified
acquisition to the National Council for Community Behavioral Health
Care (NCCBHC). The purpose of this simplified acquisition is the
development of a coordinated program of training and technical
assistance to mental health services providers that will to enable them
to successfully develop and implement programs that address the complex
needs of people with co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness.
This study will build upon the experience that has been gained thus far
through the national training and technical assistance program for
mental health providers that has been sponsored by SAMHSA and
coordinated through the NCCBHC. "See Note(s) 22 and 23." Posted
