This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Foster-Miller Inc, 360 Second Avenue, Waltham, MA 02541-1161, (781) 684-3955. These kits must fit the design of the aircraft to include crew positions, equipment locations and cargo protection. It must also meet aircraft weight and balance standards, without compromising aerospace and mission dynamics. The Standard Industry Code (SIC Code) is 3728 (1000 employees). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This solicitation incorporates the follwoing provisions by reference, FAR clauses 52.212-1,Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (offeror must submit a complete copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Items and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerical Items which incorporates the following clauses: 52.219-8; 52.222-21;52.222-26;52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.225-1; 52.225-13; 52.232-33.
