Stevison, 303-393-4635 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-554-NASC-00-01 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is authorized in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items to be prepared using simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19 is requesting quotes for digital cameras as follows: Line item 1. Topcon Retinal Camera, TRC-NWS, non-mydriatic, fundus, with digital imaging capability. Including operating and maintenance manuals consistent with customary commercial practices. Estimated Quantity is 10 each cameras. Line item 2. Estimated shipping and/or handling: Required places of delivery are Denver (1 each), Grand Junction (1 each), and Fort Lyon (2 each), Colorado; Cheyenne (3 each) and Sheridan (1 each), Wyoming; Fort Harrison (1 each), Montana; and Salt Lake City (1 each), Utah. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, is a streamlined set of instructions for offerors and applies to this acquisition. The criteria that will be considered is the capability of the item offered to meet the agency need (technical features, warranty) and price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its quotation.
