This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is RFQ CAZ-00-47 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Parshall Flumes will be used in a watershed study in the Peloncillo Mountains of southwestern New Mexico. The study will be conducted on 12 small watersheds that will each be instrumented with a 4.32 cfs and a 42.37 cfs flume. the watersheds are realtively isolated and equipment and supplier may have to be transported to some sites by pack animals or helicopters; therefore, we are requesting prefabricated Parshall Flumes that are shipped disassembled and are assembled in the field. Each unit should consist of 8 pieces plus a stilling well so they can be transported in pieces from a central point to the watersheds. Required delivery date is September 22, 2000. A purchase order will be issued to the responsible quoter who offers the specified flumes at the lowest price and is able to meet the required delivery date.
