Geologic Division has a requirement for approximately 337 line miles,
with potential for an additional 700 line miles airborne
electromagnetic surveys in Southwest Michigan and New Illinois. The
contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, and
facilities, required for conducting magnetic and frequency domain or
time domain EM surveys in Southwestern Michigan and Northeastern
Illinois to provide digitally recorded and processed airborne data.
Areas to be flown: Michigan -- helicopter frequency domain and magnetic
survey or fixed wing time domain and magnetic survey (and optional
radiometrics) to be flown North-South at 0.2 mile (320 m) line spacing
and 200-300 feet (60-90 m) above the terrain and water with sensor
height at about 100 feet (30 m). Three evenly spaced control lines are
to be flown E-W at 200-300 feet (60-90 m) above the terrain and water
with sensor height at about 100 feet (30 m). Illinois -- helicopter
frequency domain and magnetic survey or fixed wing time domain and
magnetic survey (and optional radiometrics) to be flown East-West at
0.2 mile (320 m) line spacing and 200-300 feet (60-90 m) above the
terrain and water with sensor height at about 100 feet (30 m). Optional
add-on items include radiometrics, optional deliverables/processing,
multiparamer profiles and optional add-on line mils to either or both
