provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision
and disposal necessary to replace roofs at USCG Detachment Sandy Hook,
Highlands, NJ (Monmouth County). Work includes, but is not limited to,
removal of the existing modified bitumen roof and insulation and
provision of new EPDM roofing, tapered insulation, and flashing on the
flat portions of the Station building (Building 20) and the boat
maintenance facility building (BMF). There are four separate flat areas
on Building 20 totaling approximately 4,000 square feet and one flat
area on the BMF measuring approximately 550 square feet. Estimated cost
of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. NAICS code is
235610 (Roofing, Siding and Sheet Metal Contractors). Solicitation
packages to be available on 08/30/00. The due date for receipt of
quotations is scheduled for 09/14/00 at close of business. Our office

Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is unrestricted. THE
FOLLOWING NOTICE IS PROVIDED AS INFORMATION FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED,
AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Dept of Transportation
(DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU)
has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and
performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are
available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line
