This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-00-Q-0014. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 97-13. This acquisition is Unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663. The small business size standard is 750. This acquisition includes Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001, Purchase a Projection System for Building 2653, U.S. Courtroom at Edwards AFB, CA. Work to include providing all tools, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to provide a projection system. The offered projection unit shall consist of the following items: Projector; Minimum 4_x 6_ Electric Screen; Time-lapse video cassette recorder; Document camera; Touch Panel Control System; Ceiling Mount Bracket Hardware; Extension Tube; Computer Distribution Amplifier, minimum 60 watts of power with minimum 70.7v constant voltage; Hi-Resolution Lot Cable; Video Switcher, Mixer/Amplifier; minimum 8_ ceiling speakers, minimum four, minimum range of 500 to 800 Hz, minimum 70.7v constant voltage; Custom Wall Plate, Audio/Video Lot Cable; Racks/accessories; and System programming.
