Provide all management, tools, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to perform Facility Maintenance services at the 6th Recruiting Brigade Headquarters, North Las Vegas, Nevada. Maintain the entire facility, including preventative maintenance for building systems, cleaning, lubricating, and adjustments for building systems, and maintain the interior and exterior, to include parking lots and grounds. This acquisition will be awarded under 100% small business set-aside procedures. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) is 8744. The acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures will be utilized. The Government intends to use a "BEST VALUE" judgement and may not award the resulting contract to the "lowest" quote received. Past Performance is more important than price. The solicitation will be issued on or about the week of 21 Aug 2000 and will at that time be available for viewing and downloading on the government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.eps.gov. The anticipated solicitation closing date is on or about 18 Sep 2000. A site visit will be scheduled for on or about 28 Aug 2000 for offerors to view the interior and exterior building layout. Answers to questions received to the original 7 Jul 2000 synopsis updated 14 Aug 2000: (1) The corresponding dollar size to the SIC code 8744 is corrected to $20 million dollars. (2) There is not any historical data because this is the initial solicitation for this requirement. (3) There are not any plans and specs because this is primarily facility maintenance service.
