The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for reagents for the Beckman CX3 and Array, using simplified acquisition procedures, FAR 13.3. Initial contract period is October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with four (4) one-year options to renew. Offerors may submit information on comparable and or equal to products which will function at the same level as Beckman reagents on the Beckman CX3 and ARRAY. Comparable products will only be considered if clear and concise documentation is furnished. No solicitation document exists, therefore, requests for documents will be considered invalid responses.
