The level of repair shall include unlimited service calls, one annual preventive maintenance call and repair and/or replacement of all parts and/or components as needed. The level of coverage shall include all hardware, software, peripheral equipment and accessories (excluding computer, monitor, printer, sample cells and disposables). Period of performance is 12 months. With 4 options to extend for additional 12 month periods. FOB: Destination. The equipment is located at various sites. It is the government's intent to solicit oral quotations using simplified acquisition procedures in FAR SUBPART 13 and issue a firm-fixed price order by 31 Aug 2000. They are the only source for the above since BIO-RAD LABORATORIES, INC. has proprietary rights on the design and operational characteristics of their system and on some parts and does not authorize other companies to do maintenance on their system.
