This non-competitive=20 extension is required to allow for completion of the competitive = follow-on=20 procurement being issued by the Naval Medical Logistics Command, Ft. = Detrick,=20 MD. Base period of performance will be from 1 October 2000 through 30 = June=20 2001, with options for additional one-month periods as needed through = 31=20 October 2001. FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to = negotiate on a=20 sole source basis Westerly Radiology Services. This firm is considered = the=20 only source capable of providing services, which meet all of the Navy's = requirements, by the date services are required.
