Description
Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. NSN 1005-01-134-3630 -- Hammer and Hammer Pin Retainer Assembly, cast steel. Contractor first article test (FAT) applies. Parts being bought to Army (19200) drawing number 9349110. Inspection at origin. Parts are being solciited for an Indefinitive Quantity Type Contract(IQC) with an estimated yearly quantity of 9,668 each to be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS. Solicitation includes a base year and up to 4 priced option years. Requested delivery is for up to 2,417 each to be shipped in 90 days with an additional 806 each every 30 days thereafter. If the FAT is required, the initial delivery will be increased by 90 days. Copies of the solicitation are available on the web at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". EBB quotes are not acceptable, the completed RFP package must be returned to the address in block 8 on page 1 of the RFP by the date and time specified. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business and all responsible small business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Written requests for drawings are to be submitted to the Defense Supply Center Columbus, ATTN: DSCC-VTCD, P.O. Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43216-5000 or by FAXing (614)692-2998 or calling (614)692-2344. Requests should include the RFP number, closing date, and buyer name and number. Military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. This NSN has a surge and sustainment requirement which is called out in the solicitation. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance as described in the solcitation.
