Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington has a requirement to procure two (2) each trailer mounted portable vacuum loaders, and two (2) each trailer mounted portable recycling units. The vacuum loader(s) and recycling unit(s) shall be self-contained, and capable of withstanding exposure to an outdoor environment. This requirement is in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (PESO), Annapolis, MD and is being procured under FAR 13.5, " Test Program for Certain Commercial Items." Therefore, the equipment shall be new and unused, and shall be one of the manufacturer's current production models which has been designed, engineered and sold, or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer's catalogs or brochures. The successful vendor shall provide training on site at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The training service shall be for a period of not less than two eight hour work days, for both the vacuum loader and the recycling unit. The proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns, as defined by FAR clause 52.219-6. The FSC code is 3590 and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the Receiving Officer at the Pearl Harbor Naval shipyard, Pearl Harbor, HI. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Register before award.
