Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidental supplies necessary for Roadbed Rehabilitation and Pavement Overlay on Indian Lake Road No. 501, Tell City Ranger District, Hoosier National Forest, Perry County, Indiana. The project is located adjacent to State Route 37 approximately one mile south of the junction with Interstate 64 at Exit 80. The Indian Lake road starts at the entrance sign for the Celina/Indian Lake Recreation Area. The work shall consist primarily of overlaying the existing patched asphalt road surface with 2 inches of No. 11 asphalt surfacing. The project road is approximately 3.42 miles long and the average road width is 22 feet. Other work associated with this project may include, but is not limited to, cutouts of sections of broken or poor quality asphalt paving and subgrade, and replacement with new material prior to surface overlayment. Actual work on this project may not start until April, 2001, depending upon date of award. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will not be held. This project will be solicited using Invitation for Bid procedures on an unrestricted basis, i.e. there will be no set-asides.
