Description

Residential Non-Secure Juvenile Detention Services. Concerns having the ability for providing residential non-secure juvenile detention services for only male Federal juvenile offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. This is a firm-fixed requirements type contract. Location of the facility shall be in the State of Pennsylvania to include Counties: Bucks, Delaware, Philadelphia, Chester and Montgomery. Estimated number of inmate days is 4,380 for two-year base period, 2,196 inmate days for option year one, and 2,190 inmate days for options years two and three, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a October 9, 2000. Estimated closing date is December 6, 2000. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which sall be considered by this Agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone calls for solicitations will be accepted.
