Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul BF Goodrich -- Fairbanks Morse Superchargers, Stock Numbers 2990-01-138-8503 and 2990-01-247-8503. The U.S. Coast guard does NOT possess the technical specification, drawings, etc., required to complete the overhauls. Overhauls must be in accordance with current OEM specification and standards and use only OEM parts. It is the Government's belief that only BF Goodrich -- Fairbanks Morse Engine Division has the capability to overhaul these Superchargers. However, other potential sources can submit information concerning their capability to overhaul these Superchargers. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability by submitting the following information: (1) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government; and (2) Data confirming the capability to obtain and supply genuine replacement parts. Potential offers must also verify that they are OEM authorized repair facilities. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 14 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED. Information received after this date shall not be considered. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Shirt Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of line of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
