Description

The purpose of this synopsis amendment is to : 1. Change the SIC Code from 8711 to NAICS 541710 (comprised of SIC 8731 "Commercial Physical and Engineering Sciences Research" and 8733). This changes the size standard and implements the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)- based size standard which are effective for all Federal small business programs beginning with FY 2001, which starts October 1, 2000. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 541710 "Research & Development in the Physical, Engineering & Life Sciences" (exception, "Space Vehicles" at 1000 employees). 2. The description is amended to include the requirement "to support Electromagnetic Lab operations". 3. The title of this acquistion is hereby changed to "EXPENDABLE LAUNCH VEHICLE INTEGRATED SUPPORT (ELVIS)" from EXPENDABLE LAUNCH VEHICLE ENGINEERING SERVICES (ELVES). 4. All other due dates and references, including solicitation number remain unchanged.
