Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco intents to solicit and negotitate with only one (1) source under authority of FAR 6.302 for trash/garbage collection services for the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA. 94066 for the period of January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001 plus four (4) option years. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide removal of trash, non-edible garbage and debris box service at the Golden Gate National Cemetery 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA 94066. The contractor shall provide (1 ea) twenty (20) cubic yard refuse container and (1 ea) seven (7) cubic yard refuse container to be placed on Government premises (maintenance yard, parking lot). Pick-up with will on a weekly basis. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to San Bruno Garbage Co., San Bruno, CA. 94066-1587 for the services as sited above under a franchise agreement between City of San Bruno and San Bruno Garbage Co. No telephone requests will be accepted. See Notes 1 and 22.*****
