Description

The National Naval Medical Center intends to award a Sole-Source procurement to Getinge/Castle, Inc. for maintenance on the ethylene oxide gas sterilizers, aerators, automatic washer decontaminators and steam vacuum sterilizers. The period of performance will be 01 October 2000 through 30 September 2001. This system is located in the Sterile Processing Department at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. The contract will cover four (4) maintenance inspections, to include parts, labor, travel and all emergency service calls. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted un the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be made in the form of a Government Purchase Order, contingent upon availability of FY01 funding.
