Description

Professional Photogrammetric Services in the States of Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Scope of Services: This will be an Indefinite Quanity Requirements Contract for photogrammetric services to construct large scale topographic maps, including analytical aerial triangulation, stereo compilation, finished drafting, reproductions, aerial photography, orthophotography, digital orthophotography, field control surveys, digital terrain data collection, and editing of data collected for various Forest Service projects within the states of Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The term of the contract shall be for one year with separately priced options for two additional years. Work order(s) will be negotiated and issued as individual projects. A professional engineer, and/or a registered land surveyor licensed within each project state is required within the firm. Special qualifications per No. 6 of Numbered Note 24. (a) Specialized experience and technical competence in the photogrammetric and digital data collection work; (b) Availability of management for consultation on proposed projects on as-needed basis and (c) the volume of work previously awarded by the Forest Service will be evaluated with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of the contracts among qualified A&E firms, including minority, 8(a), or small disadvantaged firms that have not had prior Forest Service contracts. A&E firms which meet the requirements described in the announcement are invited to submit completed Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Special Project to the office shown above, Firms responding to this announcement by close of business October 5, 2000 will be considered for selection. Envelopes containing SF-254 and SF-255 submittals in response to this ad should place the following in the lower left hand corner of the envelope R3-00-29, Photogrammetric, Due October 23, 2000. The contract is open to both large and small business. This is not a Request for Proposals. See Numbered Note 24.
