Description

DESC: (i) This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR Subpart 6.302-1 Sole Source requirement as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. Sole source is based on factors such as matching existing furniture in style, color, finish, and material to ensure consistency throughout out the complex. Source can also meet 60 day delivery, will assist in set up and provide on site technical assistance (ii) Solicitation F32605-00-T0106 is being issued as a notice of intent to award to Rough Rider Industries, Bismarck ND (State Prison Industry) . (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-17. (iv) Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 2521 (Wood Office Furniture). This is small business set aside acquisition with the Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees each.. (vi) This furniture is to replace existing furniture and match remaining furniture and office decor. (vii) Delivery of line items will be 60 days after receipt of order unless otherwise specified. (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instruction Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on cost and the ability to meet the requirements. (x) Offers shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212.3 Offer Representations and Certifications -- Commercial item, with its offer. (xi) The clause 5252.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The clause DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contracting Registration apply to this and all future acquisitions and Clause FAR 52.232-33 Payment By Electronic Funds Transfer. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL ONLY PROCEED PENDING AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. THIS IS A SPECULATIVE PROCUREMENT, AWARD WILL BE MADE BEFORE 30 SEPT 2000 PROVIDING FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE. (xiv) This will be a sole source acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
