Description

The methods and approaches described in the unsolicited proposal submitted by VPI&SU are the only know techniques which will fulfill NASA's requirements involving fiber optic sensors and obtaining surface strain measurements above 1800 degrees F. VPI&SU has developed unique and state-of-the-art techniques/capabilities for this technology.
