Description

Maintenance/Repair Intrusion Detection Alarm System for an estimated 38 buildings with approximately 61 locations at Andrews Air Force Base. A Universal Communication System (UCS) monitors all security alarm systems installed on Andrews AFB. A CASI-RUSCO Company computer system replaced the ADT CentralScan Central Monitoring System. The contractor provides all personnel, maintenance management services, technical support, hardware, software, user training, equipment, material, parts, tools, labor and other items and services to maintain, repair and install/modify intrusion detection alarm system and return a system or component to full operating condition 24 hours per day 365 days per year. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. The applicable SIC Code is 8011. The period of performance will be a one-year basic period with four one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting Systems (EPS) site at www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government_s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
