Description
This is an Amendment 01 to a combined synopsis/solicitation number T30700/DRP, issued on September 19, 2000. The closing date remains unchanged. The purpose of this amendment is to correctly identify the requirement for the Eight Probe Liquid Handling System. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number T30700/DRP is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention requires the purchase of automatic liquid handler/injection system. This automatic liquid handler/injection system is needed for the rapid analysis of pyrethroid metabolites in NHANES samples. (8) MRACK_XX; Special 267;215 Rack for 96 -- 12X32MM 2ML Injector Vials With 18MM X-Spacing for use with a 4-Probe SPE 215. (9) 49677520; 5UL Sample Loop, SS,77251. (10) 210677351 735 System Software for Nebula Series Products and XL Samplers,V3.XX. (11) 36083121; Serial Cable-RS-232,25 Pin D Female to 25-PIN D Male. (12) 21101NG7; Dell Dimension 600MHZ XPS Pentium III Mini-tower System Controller With 256MB Ram, 20.4 GB Hard Drive, 17" Color Monitor, CD-ROM Drive, Ethernet Card, MS Windows 98, Sound Card and Speaker, Keyboard and Mouse. The Centers for Disease Control will also require System Installation and Training. CDC believes that its requirements can only be met by one provider, therefore, it is our intention to award a firm fixed price purchase order to: Gilson, Inc, 3000 West Beltline Highway, Middleton, WI, 53562, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations within ten days of this publication. Delivery shall be to: CDC-NCEH-Central Receiving (T30700), Building 17 Load Dock-4770 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30341. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition (with addendum incorporating FAR 52.204-6, Contractor Identification Number Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number; FAR 52.214-34, Submission of Offers in the English Language, FAR 52.214-35, and Submission of Offers in U.S. Currency and FAR 52.215-20). A Firm Fixed Price Purchase order will be awarded to the firm offering the above listed items at the lowest overall cost to the government.
