Description

Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and materials to inscribe marble niche covers for Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. Contract covers base period October 1, 2000 (or date of contract award, whichever is later), through September 30, 2001, with four 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2005. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8999 and a size standard of $5 million are applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote. Request for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in writing to Ms. Janice Corlew, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference Solicitation Number RFQ 786-94-00 on remittances. No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails on or about September 22, 2000. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL. Bidders are advised that they responsible for obtaining amendments.
