Description

The proposed acquisition will be a new, firm-fixed-price contract with Spectra Precision Inc. of Dayton Ohio. This acquisition is for additional information to the Technical Manuals for Laser Leveling equipment for Dozers, Graders, and Scrapers. TACOM has identified a requirement for additional data to be included in the supplemented commercial manuals procured under Delivery Order (D.O.) SPO730-98-F-0004 to GSA Contract GS-25F-6043D. The additional data to be developed will include: installation procedures for the Blade Pro kits for Graders, Installation procedures for Dozer kits and Scraper kits, any additional Preventive Maintenance, Checks, and Services (PMCS), Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC), Repair Parts and, Special Tools List (RPSTL). Spectra Precision Inc. of Dayton, Ohio is uniquely qualified to fulfill the contract requirements because it is the original manufacturer of the Laser Leveler Equipment procured under D.O. SPO730-98-F-0004 and DAAE07-00-T-T001. Spectra Precision holds all technical rights to the hardware equipment, as well as being the original author of the baseline Commercial Technical Manuals.
