Description

Services, Nonpersonal: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ), and the solicitation number is FU042602350200. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAR) 97-19. This is a 100% set-aside for small business, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1731, and the small business size standard is $11.5 Million. The contractor is to furnish all tools, parts, materials, labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide an upgrade to the HQ AMC Executive Conference Room in Bldg 1907, 105 W Martin, Scott AFB, IL, in accordance with the attached Statement Of Work (SOW). The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award shall be based on best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, and the clauses at subparagraph (b)(12)(13)(14)(15), and (c)(1) and (2) apply. A Wage Determination is attached, and (c)(2): Employee Class is Electronics Technician II, WG-9, wages and fringes are $17.60 per hour + 32.85% for fringes. Quotes are due to this office no later than 3:00 PM Central Standard Time on 26 Sep 00. No telephone quotes will be accepted.
